Welcome to Toconoco – a local Japanese Cafe on the Kingsland Basin, Regent’s Canal.
Toconoco is a made up Japanese word meaning “Kids on the floor”
– and we are a local Japanese kid friendly cafe serving delicious home-cooked Japanese food.
Hidden in a suntrapped courtyard off Hertford Road, overlooking the Kingsland Basin on the Regent’s Canal, Toconoco is a little sanctuary filled with tea, cakes, snacks, meals, lunch boxes and juices, and space to eat, drink and think, bringing a bit of Japanese home life to London.
And as our name suggests, we have a special kids play room which is fully open to any parents and kids to play in.
Our food is simple, delicious, and healthy to take away for busy people, meals and snacks for toddlers and everything in between. There’ll be a joyful changing daily lunch set and our desserts are our speciality.
There are selections of lovely Japanese teas with special tea pots and cups.
Toconoco is a home away from home where families can relax, kids can play – or where you can just get some work done. We hope you’ll come and stay all day.
